Grynd Privacy Policy

Effective August 2026. Grynd is built by Qajim Labs ("we").

What we collect

• Account: a display name you choose, an optional profile photo you upload, and — if you sign in — the identity token Apple or Google issues. We never see your password.
• Grind data: lock-in session results (start time, duration, completed or folded), your streak, and weekly totals. This powers leaderboards and your room.
• Push tokens: your device's APNs token, if you allow notifications, so your room's alerts reach you.

What never leaves your phone

Your Screen Time data. The screen-time numbers shown during onboarding are rendered on-device by Apple's DeviceActivity framework. Which apps you use, how long, and what you block never reach our servers.

What we don't do

We don't sell data. We don't run third-party ads. We don't collect contacts, location, or browsing history.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive purchase state (subscribed or not) through RevenueCat, never your payment details.

Analytics

We collect anonymous product events (for example, "session completed") tied to a random user id, to understand what to improve.

Leaderboards

Your display name, profile picture, rank tier, and weekly locked-in hours are visible to other users on the global board and in your room. Pick any name you like.

Deletion

Profile → Delete account removes everything server-side immediately: profile, sessions, room membership, photo, push tokens.
